Classes

For our elementary + up-aged friends, classes will typically focus on a  “project or specific skill” and surely, you know we teachers love a theme. So, classes will be themed in accordance with seasonal transitions & relevant monthly happenings. But as 3 teachers you didn’t think that’d be the only thing our classes would be geared towards, did you? Each month we will spotlight & integrate age-appropriate children’s books that support the projects & skills being taught.

Combining art, literacy & social-emotional learning is such a magical combination because it allows kids to make connections & understand that what they are learning can be applied to so many other areas of their life!

For our mini friends like our toddlers & pre-school-aged friends, classes will be more focused on developing & practicing developmentally appropriate social skills, discovering & playing with hands-on sensory materials that encourage autonomy with an added bonus of sprinkling in a few foundational academic skills.

But let’s get real. Most importantly, we’ll be having fun & building a community & it just doesn’t get much better than that!

How to Navigate the Schedule

Here’s a quick breakdown to help you understand what you’ll find under each tab…

We use a company called Sawyer to do our bookings. A lot of other companies use this software, so you may already have an account! But if you don’t, no biggie …

1. You’ll initially be prompted to make an account through hisawyer.com.
2. Then you’ll be prompted to register your child. The good news is, once you’ve done that, from here on out we’ll have that child’s information.

* But if you sign-up a sibling later on, you’ll just have to use the “Add Child” feature & update your account with his/her information.

Easy enough, right?

Drop-ins = Activities that can be purchased on a session-by-session basis- no extended commitment.

Semesters = Any recurring weekly class.

Camps/Events = Any 1 time event or “camp” that is multiple days in a row.

Appointments = Any 1-1 sessions that are being offered.

Parties = You can see what some of our Party Options are & then it will allow you to fill out an “Inquiry” form so that we can get back to you! * Filling in this form will not necessarily guarantee the exact party date you’ve requested, but we’ll be in touch ASAP to discuss!

Gift Cards = Buy a gift card that can be applied to any class, camp or party at The Nest!
